For years, Härterei Reese Weimar has worked closely with numerous companies in the automobile and automotive supply industries, as well as the machine, tool and transmission manufacturing sectors.
Our customers demand a diverse range of heavy-duty construction elements made of a wide variety of materials. And we provide them the optimal, most cost-efficient heat treatment methods available. We meet the highest quality benchmarks through the use of state-of-the-art technology for all processing methods and phases.
Case hardening, carbo-nitriding, hardening and tempering are done in two process-driven, multi-purpose chamber furnace lines with a throughput of 600 and 1,200 kg/load.
Several rotary retort shaft furnaces for controlled gas nitriding, nitro-carburising and pre- and post-oxidising can harden workpieces of 1.5 mm in diameter and 2 m in length. These furnaces can process a maximum load of 5 tonnes.
Computer-aided MF and HF induction hardening machines, some of which are equipped with double-frequency generators, are available for partial, profile-accurate surface hardening.
Our modern vacuum furnaces with a quenching pressure of up to 6 bar are especially suited for hardening high-alloyed steel tools, as well as special high-quality steel-alloy parts for the automobile and roll-bearing industries.
