    Main Precept: Reproducible Quality
QM System of the Weimar-based Hardening Plant Reese certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001.
Detailed documentation of the process parameters, sophisticated plants, extensive know-how and qualified personnel - these are the main prerequisites for reproducible hardening results and hence for the quality expected from a hardening plant. The hardening plants Reese are firmly convinced that their service is all-decisive for the lifetime and loadability of hardened workpieces.

The hardening plant Reese early introduced a comprehensive QM system and - additionally - developed extensive test criteria for safety-relevant components, as the quality of the hardened workpiece depends on the quality of the heat treatment.

The results achieved by these developments: After the Bochum-based hardening plant also Reese's hardening plants in Weimar and Brackenheim have been certified according to the requirements of DIN EN ISO 9001. Both companies therefore belong to the few hardening plants, which take up the challenge to meet the highest comprehensible quality requirements - a quality not only covering the heat treatment process, but also consultancy, keeping of delivery dates and delivery service.

The next objective is therefore already formulated: The high quality standard should not only be maintained, it is intended to be further improved by means of a company-wide "continuous improvement process", which is constantly optimised to eliminate weak points. Even within the association of companies the quality process continues: The certification of the plant in Chemnitz is close at hand.

The certification document proves: The quality management of the Weimar-based hardening plant Reese meets the requirements of DIN EN ISO 9001.
