Success with new line of furnaces
       Precision in the process
The greatest single investment in over fifty years of Reese hardening plants - a fully automatic multipurpose line of batch type furnaces in a specially constructed hall - has successfully completed the introductory stage. This line of furnaces was designed primarily for the case hardening and carbonitriding of mass produced parts with subsequent quenching in an oil bath.
This concept was drawn up jointly by the Reese hardening plant and the manufacturer of the system and has turned out to have extraordinarily practical benefits. As a result, customer satisfaction is running high. Our customers and the end users of the hardened components can all profit from the fact that process controllers can register and precisely initiate not only each step involved in the treatment, but also the whole process. This concept is now being transferred step by step to other systems, with the result that the values obtained from hardening individual batches are always reproducible. Documentation of the parameters can be requested whenever needed.

An important part of quality management at all four Reese hardening plants is that they have been certified for some time now in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9000ff.
