That specialists and users of hardening technologies are
only too ready to utilize the opportunity of learning about technical developments
straight from the horse's mouth became clear to us during our preparations
for the event "Heat Treatment - The Service of the Future". The interest
proved far greater than we had expected, so there will definitely be further
events of this kind where we can give our customers an extensive and neutral
overview of the developments in heat treatment technologies.
The Heat Treatment Forum gave us the opportunity of presenting our new,
fully automatic line of furnaces, which also forms the subject of this
issue of our customer information sheet. You need to be optimistic when
your medium-sized company wants to invest about DM 5 m - the
largest single investment in the 51-year history of Reese hardening plants.
But our optimism was justified: today the plant is already running at near
to full capacity, a just reward for our investment - not to mention the
creation of new jobs.
