The Reese hardening plant in Bochum has invested a good
DM 5 m in its new line of furnaces. Installed in a hall built
especially for them, these furnaces utilize energy-saving measures including
the recovery of process heat. Notwithstanding this new plant's high level
of automation, there are eight personnel responsible for the multiple-shift
operation.
